Nitro 3 - Zero Gravity starts tomorrow!! Well today - if we want to look at the clock right now! I am excited. I enjoy all the kids, the chaos, the music. All the kids jumping up and down to the music. I love seeing kids worship. I love worshiping with kids. It's going to be great.
In the past year as a church we have been exploring different levels of our walks with God or our discipleship. I forget the actual wording. The personal level - your own devotions, prayer time, etc. The large group (probably wrong wording) - sunday services, fellowship, etc. And the corporate (wrong word again - apparently I haven't paid enough attention) - the mega conferences, BIG group stuff. Our Pastor has encouraged that each person attend at LEAST one BIG event each year. There's just something about - a room full of thousands of people, all for the same purpose, same age group or people type (men, women, kids, youth), or could be genera conference of families. But in any event, those times are priceless- to me anyways. Feeling connected with people you don't have a personal connection with. As a kid knowing that there are christians outside of your church walls and community. You are a part of something much bigger. I love the big experiences. I think that even for people who go to mega churches every week - they still need a time of mass community with others. The way you are connected by the Spirit with essentially strangers - its awesome. NITRO is our big event for kids. This is the first year where they actually had to close registration because they have so many registered!

Sounds great, Maggie! Where are you going this time? I almost wish I could go. I'm in the mood for something like that. Is Cathy and any of the other kids going? Who all is going? I need details. You know, that kinda of stuff I'd ask if you were working, sitting across from me in your former, soon to be much nicer desk.
Have a blast!
Love and prayers!
Jorge, Me, Cathy, Jorgie are all going. We are going to be in Edmonds WA (north Seattle). I'll have to stop by sometime and see how you spruced up my desk.
Monday - lunch recess. You're not off are you? I'll go to school that day and hang out on the playground with you. Then I can maybe see some of the kids.
thank you for the bag of goodies, mag.
you and georgie.. thank you!
i took a bath the minute I got home... and i gave myself a footrub with the lotion.
and i am going to really enjoy my Full Throttle at school today for lunch.
:o) I felt like a princess last night!
Unfortunately, I think I'll be at work Monday. Recess sounds good. I asked E if she was planning to talk to the kids since they were beginning to say a few things. She didn't seem to think it was necessary because she said they hadn't been saying anything. I told her they were talking to me about it. She said I could start telling them, but I told her I was waiting on her since I didn't want to be the one to start.
I finally said something to a few of the kids after lunch when they noticed I was at your desk since E was gone. I think it would be good if you could come and say hello to some of them and tell them. I think they'd like a chance to say bye to you and get some kinda of a closure.
I don't want them to feel hurt or unloved if they think you just left them suddenly because you've been with them 5 years and remember you're the kinder, gentler one so they really all like you.
Hope you're having a good time. Poor little Jeremiah is left out.
holly, i am glad that you liked it. we were hoping that you'd take a bubble bath right away and just relax! I'll let Jorgie know
