Winter is here.

Ok. So grown up snow boots. Where can I find some stylish. not too grungy, bulky - but warm and good for ice. I don't usually even get snow attire. I just grumble and complain all winter in my shoes. But this year, I have way more recess than before and I felt like I had no shoes and I was just walking on the snow. I want something that looks, sleek. Good. Can go with a casual shirt or a more dressed up look. Am I just dreaming that such a warm boot exists?

Anyways give me some tips on how you all stay warm for the winter without looking like a blown up bulky thing. I don't really like sweatshirts either - too bulky. I like some sweaters, but some of them are just too fuzzy. Winter clothes are so hard for me. Help.

For now I just drink Starbucks to stay extra warm. I even got my dad a Hot Caramel Machiatto and he really enjoyed it. I guess starbucks beats his usually instant blend. You know the kind of coffee that you ad a teaspoon of instant coffee to a cup of hot water. He liked the starbucks version better.

maggie,
you might try payless shoes in the mall in sunnyside, they have pretty reasonable looking and low prices for shoes, havent looked at boots there but you never know :) go check it out...have an awesome week.

Maggie,
Don't forget that we get a small stipend at work for boots. Thought I'd remind you while I was reading this in case I forget at work. See ya.

i'm kinda on with elia... in that... just get changing shoes..

but, i am easily pleased/satisfied with shoes... this is because I love (almost) any shoe!

Its kinda like a love for flowers... they are (almost all) great! [except the scary eating ones.. but even those have creation beauty....>>this must be why i went to school in biology....

for the shoes....

but.. my love for shoes has restrictions... they can be cheap shoes only if i intend them to be cheap shoes....

so, boots, i think i draw the line... meaning, boots can't be cheap...

i am high maintence in my boots....

mag, my leather boots (knee-highs) are sleek, but i can get cold in them...

and i don't like wearing big socks in it because it stretches out the leather.....

but i am confident the right boots are out there.... [there are fellow shoe-lovers]

so, it is a matter of hunting them down....

keep trying!

that way, you (1) get distracted and buy another pretty thing that will make you happy, or (2) find your shoes....

bring along a 'friend.' [crossing blogs]

it will make it funner (maybe)

and starbucks...

Okay, Maggie, you've probably told me this (and I really wasn't listening as you spoke or I've forgotten).....but, why don't you have your blog set up to not allow anonymous? I've noticed at least 3 other blogs that won't allow anonymous posts. It might help preserve your sanity!

BTW, I really miss having a chance to talk with you at work, one on one. It's not the same in the break room with others about and I miss talking with you, even about nothing stuff sometimes, just chatting. Sigh! I guess it'll never be the same again. Boo hoo!

i don't know how to change my blog settings. well i think it has to do with blogger vs. blogger beta (a new version), but thankfully Anonymous confessed the same day - she just didn't know exactly how to post a comment.
